France Parkinson’s visit

This Saturday, we had the pleasure to welcome two volunteers from France Parkinson association in our premises. We had already met them during the information evening organised at the Lyon-Nord private hospital in November.

This association has more than 10,000 members in France, split into 75 committees.
We presented Robo’Lyon and our innovation (the belt) to Mrs May, the delegatedeputy of the Rhône committee, and to the Mrs Armand, volunteer and secretary of the Rhône committee. Then we prsented with more details our belt and our plans to continue improving it.

The objective of this meeting was to see how we could work together to improve our belt.

One of the things we thought about was organising a working evening with patients, students and doctors to answer the different questions we have and to get patients’ opinion on our belt.
We hope to be with the association on World Parkinson’s Day, which will take place at Lyon’s medical school on 11 April. We are also planning an evening with parent’s students, the association “Photographers and Parkinsonians” and members of France Parkinson.

We would like to thank Mrs May and Mrs Armand for their visit this weekend and to take the time to listen to us.
