You may not know it, but every year we build 2 identical robots!

The first one leaves for Chicago a few weeks before the competition because transport and going through customs can be a lengthy process. In order not to waste any time between the shipping and the competition, we prepare a second robot that will stay in Lyon.

This allows our programming team to prepare and improve the different mechanisms and it gives our pilot and copilot extra-time to train.

So, we will be carrying the latest versions of our robot’s mechanisms in our suitcases when we leave for Chicago on April 4th.
