For several weeks, part of the team has been working on an essential mechanism of the robot : the climber.
This key element will allow the robot to pull itself up to different bars of the Hangar, hold on to them in order to move from one bar to another. The climber system has been completely modified compared to last year’s game.
Indeed, we used a constant spring system whereas today, a rack and pinion system replaces it, that is to say, a cog wheel working with a toothed rod. At this very moment, the prototype is being assembled, it will soon be tested for some necessary rectifications.
