It’s been a few weeks since we’ve started to contact the Chicago regional’s teams. This way, we will already know a few teams (and maybe have a few American friends) at the competition. For the moment, we’ve met the 1625 Winnovation, the 2338 Gear it Forward and the 5847 Ironclad. We would like to thank them a lot by the way!

We were able to ask them multiple questions on the regional, about accomodation and places to absolutely visit. They were very nice and gave us a lot of good advice!

We offered to bring them a souvenir from Lyon, and they looked very enthusiastic! We spent a really great time together and we laughed a lot with them! We even created a Discord in order to talk with each other frequently!

Talking with these American teams was a very rewarding experience because we had the opportunity to speak English with them (which was really funny because, as Frenchies, we don’t have a really good reputation in English…). And we started to become friends! We can’t wait to see them again!
