New printer

Great news! CREADIL, a company that sells 3D printers and 3D scanners, just offered us a new 3D printer ! We are now able to print more parts at a time and this will help us to be more efficient in building our robot!

3D printing, also called additive manufacturing, makes it possible to manufacture a solid object with different materials (plastic, metal, resin, etc.) using digital files (Inventor). This technology consists of making an object by adding successive layers of material on each other.

This technique therefore differs from the CNC technology which removes material to build the desired object.
