What a competition, this year, at the Long Island Regional!!
Even when we were apart, we experienced this competition as a team. Indeed, the students present in Lyon were delighted to be able to follow the competition live on stream. They didn’t miss a thing , and we were able to reach them live several times to share the atmosphere at the Regional.

Sydney explains: “We were always so happy the team appear on matches, and it also motivated me a lot for next year, to really experience the magnitude of the event.”

Our robot was super efficient, our shooter never missed its target! Due to his robustness this year, Victor G. didn’t have many repairs to do, so he “was able to enjoy the matches more” and “had a lot of fun”! Gaspard, who spent his last year as a technician in the drive team, testifies to “always so many emotions during the matches with a robot and a driver who have never been so good, and a fantastic week with the team on site”.
Carla, particularly appreciated meeting other teams, in particular the Geekos, a French team, who we met for the second year in competition “It’s great to create a real FIRST community in Europe!”

“The good mood, the organization and the unconditional support of our mentors are also extremely important and allowed us to fully enjoy the competition!” says Anatole.
“And we shared meals with the Regal Eagles teams and Rebel Robotics, an unforgettable experience,” says Camille.

Finally, returning to Notre Dame de Bellegarde with the Creativity Award is a source of pride for us. A great run this year for the team and a huge motivation for next season!
But above all, what will remain etched in our memories is the electrifying sensation that ran through the air at each game! The applause and shouts of support were like music to our ears! And the energy in the place was contagious, making us vibrate with excitement at every moment!
