The results of the Challenge at home are now available. We finished the competition in 12th place out of 20! It is a pretty good score considering we only completed 2 challenges out of 5! We finished 6th with 130.54 points on the Hyperdrive challenge and we finished 9th with 98.25 points on the Auto-Nav challenge. The results were given out of 150 point in total. Among the teams which completed 2 challenges, we were the one that scored the most points. You can find all the results on The Blue Alliance.
Each year, teams from around the world work for a period of 6 weeks to build two identical robots.
This 2021 season, FIRST® has a total of 3075 registered teams. However, 732 registered teams did not meet the March 5 deadline for registration of the “At Home” challenges. Due to the high number of teams not participating, FIRST® has decided to create the “Samarium” group where all these teams can participate and register before April 8. However, they will not be able to be interviewed or receive a prize.
This is not the case for Robo’Lyon who registered in time. We have interviews as well as prizes to win!
The group to which Robo’Lyon belongs for the Dean’s list and Woodie Flower prizes, is composed of only 14 teams.
Eight teams are from India, two are from England, one from Norway, one from Poland, one from Ukraine and of course one from France.
Knowing that 6 Indian teams out of the 8 are rookies, meaning that they will experience their first participation!
