This is the driving force of Robo'Lyon! Approximately 10 students per level in order to guarantee the continuity of the team from one year to the next and to maintain our level of excellence. This year 27 young people, including 8 girls, are eager to acquire new skills.
Former members of the team, the Alumnis, while pursuing their graduate studies, continue to work for the community by transmitting their knowledge and skills.
Students or professionals, they put themselves at the service of young people and guide them by giving them the benefit of their experience. Mentors play a crucial role in the team, but they do not impose their vision to the students. On contrary, their role is to encourage free thinking, initiative and communication within the team.
“I am very happy and proud to have been the godmother of Robo’Lyon for 3 years. I wish the whole team a lot of courage, to take up the challenge and to be the strongest of course!“

“I’m here to learn and do: Learn the techniques and use the tools: you have to be curious and ask questions! But above all to participate in the realization of the Robot by getting involved in the different activities”.
“Being a sponsor means accompanying my godchild throughout the season in the discovery of Robo’Lyon and the competition. I am there to answer his questions and facilitate his integration into the group.”
“I am here to transmit and assist: Transmit my knowledge and share my experience, support, advise, guide and above all give self-confidence and make the students grow”.
"This adventure combines the excitement of sport with the rigor of science and technology."
